Avanta UK Ltd has partnered with a prominent UK multi-channel retailer for over 25 years, delivering a wide range of warehouse improvement projects — from mezzanine installations to office conversions and staff shop fit-outs.

This particular project focused on increasing storage density in two distinct areas of the warehouse using a combination of Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) pallet racking and low-level pallet racking. The solution was designed to accommodate pallets, boxes, and rolls of fabric efficiently.

VNA Adjustable Pallet Racking

- Height: 17m to 18.5m

- Frame: Galvanised

- Beams: Painted orange, 2.7m long, 2000kg capacity

- Adjustable pitch: 50mm, allowing reconfiguration for different pallet heights

- Current beam levels: 1850mm, 3700mm, 5500mm, 7400mm, 9250mm, 11000mm, 12950mm, 14800mm, 16650mm

- Configuration:

- 1 single run (30 bays)

- 2 double runs (30 bays each)

- Capacity: 3,000 pallets

- Sprinkler brackets: Installed throughout

Low-Level Adjustable Pallet Racking

- Height: 2m and 2.5m

- Bay size: 2.7m clear entry width x 1m depth

- Configuration: - 46 runs @ 20 bays long - 5 runs @ 21 bays long

- Capacity: - 4,310 pallets - 1,235 pick locations

- Mesh decks fitted to all levels

- End barriers and upright protection throughout

- Designed for storing pallets, boxes, and fabric rolls used in furniture production
