Carpet Racking Project For Long Term Client

Avanta UK have completed another pallet racking and carpet racking project for a long-standing client.

The client offers solutions for carpets, barrier matting, wall protection and LED lighting systems, in addition to a comprehensive range of stair edging and floor trim profiles.

A new warehouse was acquired in Winsford and Avanta were invited in to quote for the storage equipment project which involved integrating existing racking from other sites previously supplied by Avanta and a decent quantity of new pallet racking and carpet racking.

The storage equipment consisted of carpet racking to store rolls of vinyl and carpet and pallet racking with steel decks and timber decks to store pallets of floor tiles.

Carpet racking from Avanta UK is configured using the standard frames and beams from an adjustable pallet racking system creating the depth required to store long rolls. The beams for carpet racking can be decked in a choice of suitable materials including steel, chipboard, MDF, and open / close boarded timber.  On this installation the timber was faced with a foam and timber chocks at each end to offer extra support.

The new pallet racking was supplied and fitted with mesh panels on certain runs and timber on others depending on the items stored.  Typically it is a mixture of medium and heavy duty frames and beams for pallets of plastic floor tiles and flooring accessories including edging and profiles.

The warehouse aids the consolidation of the Client's vinyl business with the Carpet range.
