Alliance Disposables was looking to relocate one of its existing sites in Birstall to a larger modern and high specification facility in a location that offers direct access on to the national motorway network to service the Yorkshire region.
As a Leeds based pallet racking specialist, Avanta UK Ltd was appointed to design, supply and install the new racking system in order to maximise storage space within the warehouse. The project also involved relocating existing shelving originally supplied by Avanta.
The scope of works included supplying new pallet racking to accommodate 900 pallets @ 1000mm wide x 1200mm deep and up to 1800mm high with 1000kgs load.
From taking delivery at a specific pre booked slot the installation took 2.5 days to complete.
