Garment Storage Solution For Iconic Fashion Brand

The client had recently taken over an iconic fashion brand and needed to create extra capacity within the existing warehouse facility.

The project undertaken by Leeds based storage equipment specialist Avanta UK included the design, supply and installation of a new garment storage system and relocating other storage equipment to create the space.

Activities included: -

• The dismantling and relocation of circa 200x bays of returns shelving to the perimeter and to various mezzanine levels
• The relocation and cleaning of existing longspan shelving for BDC box storage
• The design, supply and installation of 560 garment hanging bays with 2 levels. Each bay measures 2400mm high x 1500mm width x 600mm front to back depth. This garment storage solution is an adaptation of the rivet shelving system.

The total garments stored will be circa 135,000.

The 8 week project was completed on time with a 2 week install time on the garment bays and 6 weeks for the remainder of the works.
