Power Station Workship For Out Project In West Yorkshire

Leeds based Avanta UK successfully tendered for a workshop fit out project at a West Yorkshire Power Station.

The brand new facility required a new Mechanical Engineering Workshop to be kitted out with high quality storage and workbench equipment.

Avanta UK designed, supplied and installed: -

  • 11 x 6 drawer units that were keyed to differ for individual employees to store tools. The drawer units were part of a 5.5m run with a biscuit jointed seamless industrial worktop, louvre panels and top storage units. The top units and panels are supported by a post system rather than wall mounting due to the obstructions.
  • 1 x Island unit constructed from 2x 2m length workbenches with double door storage
  • 1 x Central Storage Area - Consisting of 3x full height shelved steel cabinets

The manufacturing lead-time for these units was 3 weeks and the installation was 1x day.
