As part of the Avanta portfolio of warehouse interior products and services the resin floor surface solutions offered are proving very popular, whether part of a full turnkey project or as a single product and service offering.
Avanta was approached by Unilever to offer a resin flooring solution for their Birkenhead site and works to be completed during a specific factory shut down.
The solution was circa 5,000m2 of ResinFlor Epoxy and Polyaspartic Resin Coating System in multiple colours utilising a high-performance flooring applied to a concrete substrate.
The areas were treated by vacuum assisted diamond grinding prior to installing type 3 high build coatings with anti-slip finish.
Line demarcation to Forklift Truck (FLT) routes and walkways and black and white zebra demarcations where FLT route crosses the walkway.
The works were completed on time during a 7-day shutdown period.
