Avanta UK Limited - Maria Mallaband Nursing Homes - New Head Office

In 1996, businessman Phil Burgan, set up Maria Mallaband Nursing Homes with Maria Twarowski, based at Cleckheaton, with their offices located within the loft conversion of their first premises – Ashcroft Nursing Home. The business quickly grew and by early 2004 it was clear that their head office premises were no longer large enough to cope with the businesses growing needs, causing the Chairman to look for larger premises.  After viewing various sites, a suitable brand new office premises was located on Geldard Road in Leeds. 

 

As the premises were brand new, the next task was to fit-out the premises with suitable offices and furniture to house their team of staff.  Phil’s first stop was the Yellow Pages where he located a number of companies able to deal with his requirements and Phil and his Managing Director, Maria Twarowski set about the task of designing their offices and obtaining quotations. 

 

One of the companies chosen was Komfort, a market leading Manufacturer of Office Partitioning and Furniture.  As Manufacturer’s Komfort employ distributors to sell and install their product, so it was at this point that they introduced Avanta UK Limited.  Avanta, a Leeds based company are experienced in providing Office Partitioning and Furniture, along with Mezzanine Floors, Shelving and Racking, provided throughout the country.  Along with other companies were offered the opportunity to come up with a solution and provide quotations.

 

After attending various meetings, it became clear to Phil and Maria that Avanta had a good grasp of their requirements for a modern looking office space, and offered a more professional approach.  Avanta worked with Maria Mallaband and through careful planning were able to maximise the space available to provide offices, conference room and an open plan area with two four-pod work stations incorporating storage. 

 

Avanta installed Kameo 75 office partitions with full height single glazed panels which were complemented by manifestations showing the company logo.  Doors were provided in timber with matching Ash finish KM³ Storagewall providing high volume discreet storage.  Furniture was also selected to match including the Reception Desk.

 

The installation was completed to tight deadlines and credit was given to the workmanship of the installation teams who provided an excellent quality of finish.  The offices and furniture add a touch of finesse and visitors to the new company premises regularly comment that they are very impressed with the working environment.
