Komfire Office Partition Project in Leeds
Avanta UK successfully tendered to supply and build office partitioning, a suspended ceiling, lighting, air conditioning, floor coverings and furniture to form an office suite within a production area.
The partitoning system put forward was Komfire 75 which is a 50mm steel stud and 2x 12.5mm plasterboard construction surrounded by an aluminium framework . The system test ratings for fire and sound are 30 minutes and 43 dB (Rw) respectively.
Avanta On Target
Avanta UK successfully tendered for extending an existing mezzanine with office build on top and a mezzanine for storage including longspan shelving for a computer component operation in Castleford, West Yorkshire.
The works also included reconfiguring runs of existing pallet racking to suit the changing storage requirements of the business.
Pallet Racking Installation in Leeds
To maximize storage in the new warehouse Avanta UK Ltd was appointed to design, supply and install the new pallet racking and relocate existing shelving originally supplied by Avanta. The scope of works included supplying new pallet racking to accommodate 900 pallets @ 1000mm wide x 1200mm deep and up to 1800mm high with 1000kgs load.
From taking delivery at a specific pre booked slot the installation took 2.5 days to complete.
2 Fashion Retailers Increase Storage Capacity with Avanta UK
The aim of the project was to get the bulk storage off the floor to create a larger goods-in area, marshalling areas and increased storage density. Avanta UK designed, supplied and installed the 5 x Double sided runs of the market leading Palletstor pallet racking system to store 1000 pallets (1200mm wide x 1000mm deep & up to 1650mm high x 500Kgs max load) The installation included rack end protection and individual column protectors and took a little under 5 working days to complete.
Mesh Cage Installation National Roll Out Program
Avanta Security Mesh Cages come in 6 standard sizes and are constructed using UX 450 mesh panels. Panels can easily be modified on-site if your application should change. Mesh panels with a smaller aperture can also be provided for the safe storage of aerosols if required.
Anti-Static Workbenches – West Yorkshire Electronics Company
Working closely with the client Avanta UK designed and supplied: -
12 off Cantilever assembly workbenches with antistatic worktops, electrical service ducts, with a combination back panel.
36 off Heavy duty test workbenches with antistatic worktops. All the workbenches were supplied built up so that they were ready to use. The benches were manufactured and supplied within the required 4 weeks.
The customer commented: – “I have been impressed with the response from Avanta to my enquiry. They suggested the benches be supplied built up to minimize the installation costs and the salesman even helped off load the wagon for us.”
Warehouse Shelving Project in Leeds
The Euro Shelving installation provides Aqua with 3039 product pick locations and the Longspan provides 2575 BDCM1 box locations and 22 linear metres of garment hanging.

Major UK Retailer – Warehouse Office Build
Avanta UK Ltd proposed a 50m run of the propriety brand Komfire 75mm system. The Komfire 75 solid panels are constructed from 2x 12.5mm plaster boards on 50mm galvanised steel studs with rockwool infill finished in vinyl. The Offices are 2.7m high with suspended ceilings inset at 2.4m. The glazing panels are 6.4mm laminated glass inset into aluminium frames and all doors were oak finished.
Febi Pallet Racking & Longspan Shelving Install Leeds
Febi UK Ltd based in West Yorkshire, due to increased demand the company had a requirement to increase the number of pallet and box storage locations within their warehouse facility.
Harrison Clough Pallet Racking Install
The project included: – Dismantling the existing storage structure including all walkways, staircases, pallet racking including all associated walkways and two-tier shelving system.
All existing Shelving was purchased by Avanta and all existing Pallet Racking was stripped and re used / relocated within the new layout.
The combination of existing and new pallet racking designed to maximise space and resulted in improved storage density within the same footprint.
