Horsley, Hick & Flower (HHF) are part of  Kinnerton Confectionery, the largest independent UK company operating in the field of child and adult confectionery novelties, and the first confectioner in the world to offer chocolates that are manufactured in segregated zones. Avanta UK Ltd has worked with HHF since 2007 on a number of large scale projects and on-going utility equipment supply to their Sherburn factory premises. Leeds based Avanta UK Ltd designs and installs racking & shelving systems, partitioning, production white wall and mezzanine floors as well as supplying a comprehensive range of ancillary products and services. In May 2011, Avanta UK Ltd completed a large scale 8 phase food factory refurbishment project on behalf of HHF to completely redesign and relocate the following areas: -

	Finished Goods Warehouse – Pallet racking - 640 Pallet locations
	Goods in Warehouse – Pallet racking – large scale installation
	New Factory Office – Partitioned offices with meeting area on mezzanine
	New Samples Kitchen – Complete with food grade stainless steel furniture
	New Production Rooms – Constructed with hygiene white wall panels
	Ground Floor Welfare Facilities – Toilets, canteen, changing rooms, cleaner’s facilities
	Production Area – Demolishing existing areas and relocating
	Nut Side Packing – New partitioned area creating self contained designated nut packing area

Avanta UK Ltd acted as the principal contractor, project managing all the trades required including mechanical & electrical, plastering, decorations, fitters etc. This has culminated in the delivery of a complex project on time and on budget.
